Essentials Clymer has been home to Neckers Company General Store since 1910. Advertised as “The Small Town Store with So Much More,” Neckers is a fourth-generation family store that sells groceries, clothing, shoes, home decor and gifts and more. French Creek General Store (which is in Clymer) sells groceries, hardware, antiques and more. Clymer also has Creekside Groceries and other small stores, as does Corry, Pa. (about 8 miles south of Clymer). For major grocery stores, Tops Friendly Markets has stores in Union City, Pa. (18 miles southwest of Clymer) and in Mayville (about 20 miles northeast of Clymer). For a major retailer, there’s a Walmart Supercenter in Corry and Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood, about 20 miles east and home to stores like JC Penney, Sears and lots more.
